The Royal Naval Dockyards were at one time a major base for the British Navy. There is a remnant of a fortress that has been converted to maritime museum. The clocktower building now houses a trendy and modern shopping mall with small branch stores of Bermuda's major chains, including Davison's, Calypso, and Trimingham's. Next to the maritime museum, the Frog and Onion serves up English favorites, such as fish and chips and steak and kidney pie.

Photos of South Shore Beaches

Stroll along in the pink sands of South Shore beaches!

The Stonehole is an interesting natural sculpture close to Warwick Long Bay.

On our second visit, we stayed at an apartment but later switched to the Sonesta Beach Resort in Southampton on our last night. What a stunning and relaxing spot!
